If you are a contract manufacturer or packer with a UK site, you will benefit from BCMPA membership

The BCMPA - promoting the contract packing industry

The BCMPA was formed in 2000 and is established as the voice of the contract manufacturing and packing industry in the UK. The Association plays a major role in promoting the concept of outsourcing and is the first port of call for brand owners, manufacturers and retailers looking for professional outsourcing partners.

Our high profile has been achieved through a combination of trade press coverage, exhibitions, the BCMPA website and networking with all elements of the packaging industry.

Join Stats

Be seen by brand owners looking to outsource

The BCMPA website attracts around 2,000 visitors and 10,000 unique page views a month. Each Member has their own branded Profile page on our site, which is viewed hundreds of times a year by companies looking for outsourcing partners. Through our online Search Facility potential clients can swiftly shortlist your profile page to research your capabilities and make contact. Members’ visibility to search engines is significantly enhanced, just by virtue of being listed on the BCMPA website.

In addition, the Send an Enquiry page generates over 500 sales leads a year, which are disseminated out to BCMPA Members via our eMarketing System.

Join Magazines

Increase your profile through the trade press

Through our excellent editorial contacts with the trade press, the Association actively encourages Members to promote themselves not only in all the major packaging magazines but also in vertical publications covering the various industry sectors in which they are involved.

'The Contract Packer' magazine was launched by the BCMPA in 2012, in association with ‘Packaging News’. It is published three times a year as a supplement within Packaging News and in other issues members’ news can be found under the Contract Packing section. The publication has a printed circulation of over 10,000 and up to 40,000 digital readers.

The BCMPA provides a valued impartial source of expertise which appears as editorials published in a number of trade publications throughout each year, keeping the BCMPA and its members in the spotlight wherever possible.

How do I qualify for membership?

First of all, you must have an operational contract packing/contract manufacturing site in the UK. Current BCMPA members range from multi-national firms to SMEs turning over less than £1m. What we look for are companies who are professional at what they do and it is our policy to conduct a satisfactory audit visit prior to membership being accepted. Our aim is to ensure that the services of our members meet the high standards expected by the clients who contact us.
