Thursday 5th September 2024 at 13.30-14.30
Delivered by Peter Collins and Mark Simmonds of DEFRA and Jude Allan of OPRL
If you have a turnover of over £1Million and you place packaging onto the UK market, then you may meet the criteria to be a Small Producer under packaging Extended Producer Responsibility.
The deadline for small producers to submit their pEPR data is at the beginning of October. Join this webinar to understand if that applies to you what it would mean to you and your business.
Peter Collins and Mark Simmons of Defra will join Jude Allan, Interim MD for OPRL, to offer their up-to-date advice on the forthcoming deadlines and to answer your questions about your own requirements to this new legislation.
Please register your interest in attending by clicking the link here.
Following on from the recent BCMPA Conference, Jude Allan asked Defra to clarify the obligations around 3rd party copackers and manufacturers, and where their responsibility lies within pEPR. This bespoke webinar tackles those very difficult questions on this complicated topic, and importantly aims to provide as much clarification and support as possible to 3rd parties who are looking at their own role in this piece of legislation.
To ensure that this session is beneficial for all BCMPA members and visitors please submit your questions ahead of the webinar to jude.allan@oprl.org.uk and title your email – BCMPA pEPR Webinar Questions, or add a question when you register.
The session will last about 35 minutes with an additional 20 minutes of Q&A
