Exhibitions & Events

There is nothing like engaging face-to-face, a fact that was greeted with huge post-pandemic enthusiasm in 2022 by visitors and exhibitors alike. The BCMPA has always been strong on promoting members’ services at exhibitions and in 2022 we were able to return to participating at seven live events. We also organised panel discussions focusing on contract manufacturing and on fulfilment.

We attended the 2-day Environmental Packaging Summit and, as a sponsor of the Co-Pack & Fulfilment Award, we were spotlighted at the UK Packaging Awards black-tie Dinner at The Grosvenor House in London’s Park Lane, which attracted 600 guests from across the packaging industry.

This year in 2023 we are exhibiting at a further seven shows: Easyfairs Contract Pack & Fulfilment (part of Packaging Innovations & Empack), White Label World Expo, IFE Manufacturing (part of International Food & Drink Event) and Making Pharmaceuticals have already taken place, whilst still to come are CHEMUK, London Packaging Week and eCommerce Expo. We have also been able to secure further speaker sessions at a number of these events to promote outsourcing.

How do I qualify for membership?

First of all, you must have an operational site in the UK which provides contract manufacturing, co-packing, fulfilment, e-commerce or logistics services. Current BCMPA members range from multi-national firms to SMEs turning over less than £1m. What we look for are companies who are professional at what they do. Our aim is to ensure that the services of our members meet the high standards expected by the customers who contact us.
