Making Nutraceuticals – Inaugural Show co-located with Making & Distributing Pharmaceuticals, great success!
April 2026
The BCMPA was delighted to be part of the inaugural Making Nutraceuticals show co-located with Making & Distributing Pharma at the Coventry Building Society Arena. The new show saw an excellent turnout across both days. There was strong interest from visitors seeking third-party suppliers and outsourcing solutions for all their nutraceutical projects.
With BCMPA members offering a broad range of services—including new product development, manufacturing, packing, and direct-to-consumer (D2C)—this fast-growing and dynamic market increasingly requires support in identifying the right outsourcing partners. As a fragmented sector that enables many single traders, there is a clear need for the expertise that experienced suppliers can provide, from ingredient sourcing and machinery to full-service contract manufacturing, packing, e-commerce and fulfilment, and the show was able to help visitors with these requests.
The BCMPA panel on the second day, featuring Steve Facer from Codis, Ed Ryle from Calleva Nutrition and Tammy Williams from Chester Medical, highlighted how outsourcing can help brands launch quickly, scale effectively, navigate regulatory requirements, and select packaging formats tailored to their specific needs.
Emma Verkaik, CEO of the BCMPA, said ‘The UK needs a show that is focussed on the Nutraceutical sector and Making Nutraceuticals has come at the right time. With the exponential growth that is forecast in Nutraceuticals over the next 10 years anticipated to be over £1 Trillion globally, there is going to be much demand for outsourced services. At the BCMPA we are pleased to be able to help brands find the services they require to support their growth.’
The show will take place on the 20-21 April 2027 and will move to the NEC, Birmingham for the first time.
