Briar Chemicals is a UK-based Contract Development & Manufacturing Organisation specialising in the development, analysis, synthesis and formulation of chemical products. Briar offers custom manufacturing and formulation solutions to some of the world’s leading ‘blue chip’ chemical companies operating in the crop protection, fine and speciality sectors.

Briar's synthesis capabilities are complemented by contract blending, mixing, formulation, packing and logistic services.

Briar's FFP operation is from a dedicated facility, situated on a 16 acre site, adjacent to our main 100 acre site, in the heart of East Anglia, Norwich, United Kingdom. As a result, our formulation and packing activities are supported by our ability to produce our own steam and electricity on site as well as treat our own waste streams and is fully supported by our analytical technicians and laboratories.

Briar's services include emulsifiable concentrates & soluble concentrate formulations as well as basic blending and mixing operations. Product packing into 250ml to 1000L IBC and bulk containers, 4 x formulation vessels of varied construction ranging from 13KL to 25KL with 6 packing lines with varying degrees of automation, with our fully automated line capable of packing 1-10 litre pack sizes with a daily output of over 25KL.

Our operation is supported by an extensive tanks farm for raw materials and finished product and hot melt drum heating facilities.
