Libra Speciality Chemicals offers specialised contract and toll manufacturing services, with a focus on high-quality bulk blending and mixing capabilities. Our advanced facilities include 15 mixing vessels made from 316 stainless steel and rubber-lined materials, designed for a range of bulk processes with options for high-shear mixing, heating, cooling, and nitrogen handling. This setup ensures consistent, scalable production for aqueous and solvent-based blends.

Our blending suite includes a powerful 55Kw duplex shearer, supporting high-solids dispersions with temperatures up to 150°C. For emulsions, we provide dedicated wax and oil mixing systems, including variable speed mixers, APV homogenisers, and steam-heating up to 150°C, producing a range of complex formulations for diverse client needs.

Complementing our liquid capabilities, we offer solids processing with two 3m³ Nauta blenders, a Blackfriars kibbler, and a KEK turbine mill, allowing for versatile size reduction and flexible packaging options from buckets to bulk bags.

Our reaction facilities include 16 reactors (10-60m³), capable of high-pressure and vacuum operations up to 300°C. ATEX-certified and Zone 1 designed, our facilities support complex reactions such as neutralisation, amidation, and sulphation.
