SGL provides a contract packing service to some of the best known FMCG companies within the UK, including those in the food sector.

With a reputation for quality, our primary production unit, close to the M65 at Nelson, is equipped to provide a comprehensive and flexible range of packing solutions including flow wrapping, bagging, cartoning, clip-stripping, shrink wrapping, hand packing, displays and pot-filling plus multi-head weighing systems, each offered in segregated packing areas.

SGL have a wealth of experience with the design and development of new products and promotions. Assisting with the design or supplying solutions for both primary and secondary packaging, we have the flexibility to adapt to new and innovative manufacturing and packing processes.

We have two sites: 25,000 sq ft and recently added 53,000 sq ft facility, plus dedicated fully racked, air-conditioned warehouse for packaging and consumables to accommodate 2,500 pallets.

BRC certification to Level 8 AA*, Sedex registration and Organic Farmers and Growers with environmental and recycling procedures are all in place.
